Directions to Carpenter's Cottage From Matlock Green heading to Tansley and Alfreton A615 Eastbound:

Once you go over the crossroads at Matlock Green (where the Esso Garage will be on your right hand side) continue to head to Tansley.

After a couple of hundred years there will be the scout hut on your left and then the road bends around to the left and you come into a 40mph zone. Next up you will see the signage for Derwent Treescapes on your right hand side. Carpenter's Cottage is on Lumsdale Road which is the next left hand turn.

Directions from Alfreton and Tansley A615 Westbound.

Come through Tansley with Gregory's wood yard on your left hand side, followed shortly by the Tavern at Tansley on your left, continue on the A615 towards Matlock, past the Old Coach Road Industrial Estate on your right, continue to head into Matlock. You'll see a sign for Lumsdale to the right and then the next turning off to the right is Smuse Lane, continue down the A615 and turn right into Lumsdale Road.

Carpenter's Cottage is located in Bailey's Mill which is at the bottom of Lumsdale Road on the left hand side opposite the new build houses.
